Dear Mapel is the first development project Psalmayene 24 will undertake with Mosaic during his residency.

The play centers Psalm's relationship with his deceased father through a series of letters (both real and imagined), and asks if we can ever alter relationships we have with those who have died.

Psalm has said that this is the show he's been afraid to write and perform for years—but the time is now. Collaborators attached to the project include director Natsu Onoda Power (Mosaic's Charm; Georgetown University), dramaturg Jocelyn Clarke (New Play Institute at Arena Stage, Adviser to Arts Council of Ireland), Emic Films, percussionist Jabari Exum and Baby Wale restaurant. The team is also seeking consultation from a genealogist.

Katherine Mann's art starts with an act of chaos, an act of chance — and then seeks to impose order around it. Her work invites people to take their shoes off and step into another world. Funded by Adobe, One Window is an experimental documentary short that seeks to use the creative methods behind Katherine's own art to produce a film about it. By the end of the film, viewers won't have any trouble seeing how a seventy foot-long abstract mural is a work of detailed self-portraiture about one of the most extraordinary artists of our time.

In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, LifeBridge Health, the leading health services organization in Maryland and StrawberryFrog, its Movement Marketing Agency shot a short this film in the middle of the pandemic, actually shot inside one of Baltimore's LifeBridge Health Hospitals with real health-care workers battling Covid.

Chefs Nick Wiseman and Ronen Tenne met more than a decade ago as cooks in some of NYC’s most acclaimed kitchens. Together, they created @eatlittlesesame, a DC-based restaurant that’s on a mission to #DriveBigger by connecting good farming with good food. This summer, they drove across the country in their VW Bus, Wilma, to expand their culinary experiences and bring them back home.

At a later stage in her life she met Richard, he put out an offer that would prove to take her life and most of her spare time on a drastically different path.

Casey Bailey supplies all of our chickpeas at Little Sesame from his 5000 acre family farm in Fort Benton, MT. Casey grew up on this farm which was managed by his father. Over the past decade, he’s turned his family’s land all back to organic and pioneered new ways to grow grains. Casey Tree Farm occupies 730 acres of land along the Shenandoah River in Berryville, VA. They have dedicated 100 acres of that land to sustainable tree production using techniques that prioritize long term soil health and productivity, while safeguarding the overall environment.
